Farmers say that gardeners only have control over the soil and the water and the rest is up to mother nature. I, of course, have lots of other areas I’m trying to keep under control. What about those relentless caterpillars? The snails that, in one night, have …v.e.r.y. s.l.o.w.l.y… eaten an entire crop of collards? The dog chasing a cat right through the pepper bed?
