Tending to the soil is an important part of the growing process, and one I know very little about. I’m used to throwing a couple of plants into a bed of dirt and hoping for the best. I just started composting several months ago, and I’ll be harvesting my first crop of dirt soon. And since soil is about 90% mineral, this page will be dedicated to all things soil-related.
Find out about water here and here.
One way to add nutrients to organic top soil is to, um, mix in poop. Buying bat guano or something like that would be fine, but I decided to get the chickens involved.
